Training doesn’t mean that you don’t learn

It just means that learning can be repeated a few hundred times and is a lot easier with repetition.

As you gain experience, you’re learning on your own. You’re taking your first steps. You’re making mistakes, trying new things and getting better. Training means that you try something you’re passionate about and you keep trying until you find what works for you. Training means that you don’t get frustrated.

learning from mistakes

You don’t give up because you’re tired or you’re afraid. You don’t give up because you can do better. You keep trying until the best that you can do works for you. Training means that you learn from someone else. You learn from your teammates. You learn from coaches. You learn from a friend’s experience. Training means that you learn from your mistakes. You learn from your failures. For me, that’s been the biggest gift I’ve received as a player. I’ve learned from my mistakes. I’ve learned from my teammates.

I’ve learned from my coaches. I’ve learned from a friend. Just watching the way they take the field, it never feels the same, because that’s how they’re supposed to play. We go out there, we practice, we work. We’re all different and we’re all going through our own experiences and there’s nothing we can do about it.
